BuilderUp is a construction company in Maryland that did not have a name. I worked with Exclamation Communications, Inc. to design the visual brand for BuilderUp from the ground up, including the name, logo, website, signage, uniforms, vehicle graphics, icon set, style guides, stationery, and promotional video.
With close collaboration with ECI and the client, a full brand system was designed. As a construction and supply company, BuilderUp called for a tough, but friendly feel to message to their audience. The font selection, color palette, and tone of voice combined to visually communicate their vision. Creating a brand style guide helped keep consistency from the beginning and for future design materials and messaging.
BuilderUp is all about being on-site building things so vehicle graphics and uniforms keeps branding in sight for all to see. These designs also produce team unity and a strong sense of cooperation.
Signage establishes the built reality of their goals and a place in the community they serve. Stationery allows for internal messaging and correspondence with customers. The icon set collected and used reflects elements of construction in a simplified and easily accessible way.
This new company was a merger from one company to another, but still needed to stand by itself as a division of the parent company. A short video with animated elements was created to provide a friendly transitional message from old to new and the future.
